How to get started

  1. Open OpenMW Web in a current desktop Chrome or Edge browser.
  2. Choose the free example world, or select the Data Files folder from your legally owned Morrowind installation.
  3. Follow the launcher’s prompts and start the chosen world. The example world is not the Morrowind campaign.

What to prepare

The current project README requires desktop Chromium with MEMORY64, Chrome/Edge 133+. Firefox, Safari and mobile are not supported. Local-folder mode reads files from disk; cloud locker is an optional separate account/upload flow.

If the project does not start

Launcher responded HTTP 200; own-data requirement and browser restrictions verified in original README. Gameplay not tested.

Try the original site rather than an embedded preview. Follow its loading and data instructions, and return later if its server is unavailable. Full gameplay is not established by this directory.

Another world awaits.
